As a Volunteer you can expect:
There are a number of different volunteering opportunities available with the Volunteering Project at Libertus Services depending on your skills and interests. Volunteers are integral to the services offered by Libertus and our
Volunteers play a big role in the service received by our Members. Volunteers currently provide assistance and support to over 100 Older People a week within South East of Edinburgh covering the Day Service, local breakfast clubs and activity groups.
- Regular training opportunities (for example First Aid and Passenger Assist Training)
- Invitation to contribute to Volunteer Network Meetings
- Regular support and supervision within your volunteering role
- Daily discounted access to kitchen food
- Continued opportunities for personal development
- To meet like-minded individuals and make new friends
Do you have time to spare which you would like to use helping older people in your local community? All volunteers are required to register under the PVG scheme to work with vulnerable adults, this will be applied and paid for by the Volunteering Project.
